My Art Demo in RS Hanna Gallery
There's been a blog post written about me by Pit, a resident of Fredericksburg, Texas.
It includes step by step photos of one of my demos in the gallery where my work is on the walls. Pit owns two of my paintings so it was a great pleasure to meet him. Please follow the link below to read Pit's post.
I'd be delighted if you leave comments on both mine and Pit's blog page and please do share it wherever you are connected on social media, the more the merrier.
I'll be posting more about my trip to Texas soon with photos of course so keep watching.

Texas demos
I'm going to be painting some demos in Fredericksburg, Texas early February. I'm really excited about this and really looking forward to meeting folk during these.
The first one is for Die Kunstler Group on Thursday 4th February. You can read about the group here:
Die Kunstler Group
Fredericksburg is well known for its First Friday Art Walk when galleries stay open late the first Friday each month.
I'll be painting a watercolour demo starting at 6pm on Friday 5th February in the RS Hanna Gallery and again on Saturday 6th starting at 2pm. I am represented by this gallery and have work on display there. Shannon, owner of the gallery, will be revealing some new work by me just back from the framers. Can't wait to see them myself.
Click the link to RS Hanna and scroll down the main page to read more about the demo and see some of my paintings. I also have more on this page
Hope you can make it.

Paintings for an Exhibition
I've mentioned previously that I am so lucky to be represented by the prestigious RS Hanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Shannon Hanna, the gallery owner, is opening a new show this coming Friday 6th November which runs until 19th December. The show is called “Its Hip to be Square” as all the paintings in the exhibition are a square format. In art circles square appears to be the new 'black' as it were.
I am delighted for three reasons.
1) - I have four new watercolour paintings in the exhibition (one of which appeared in the gallery's ad in American Art Collector magazine for December). Thanks Shannon.
2) - My paintings will be hung alongside some very well known artists.
Here are a couple of my paintings, both Venetian scenes:
My other two watercolours plus all of the show's paintings can be seen online at the link below. Should you want to buy a painting just contact Shannon for details.
Oh, by the way, almost forgot number 3) - I'm going to make it over there for the last day, 19th December, can't wait.

Scottish Art Scene magazine
I have been fortunate to be chosen to feature in the latest issue which highlights the upcoming Edinburgh Macmillan Art Show. One of the three paintings I have in the show is both inside the online magazine and on the back cover.
The exhibition opens to the public on Thursday 27th August until Sunday 30th. It promises to be a great show and supports a worthy charity. Come along if you can.
