This time next week I'll be attending Patchings Art Festival, to catch up with old friends and hopefully make some new ones. I plan to attend both Friday and Saturday. I hope I can keep my 'art supplies' purchasing in check but there are always so many bargains to be had it's not easy to hold back!
I hope one day to be able to exhibit there myself. Who else is going?

ReplyDeleteI have entered the exhibition /competition for the last 2 years without success. I decided that I will attend, when I get a work accepted for the exhibition. Have a great time and don't forget to tell us all about it!

DeleteI've managed to get into the exhibition three times and been fortunate to be selected as a prizewinner twice but haven't got in since 2011. I wouldn't let that put you off going, in fact better reason to go and get a good look at it all and see the exhibition first hand.
Think of it this way, if you get in you've got to go three times! Once to deliver, once for the event and again to collect your painting after the exhibition ends. That's quite a few miles from Scotland I'll tell you.
I hope one day they'll let me exhibit in the marquee.
